Do you move furniture when you clean carpet?
We offer furniture moving as part of our professional carpet cleaning service at no additional cost. Once the cleaning is done, we will carefully place the furniture back in its original position using protective padding if necessary. It’s recommended that you take off any electronics, plants, lamps, and other small items from your furniture beforehand. While we can move most furniture, there are some exceptions such as pianos, electronics, china cabinets, beds, dressers with mirrors, pool tables, and similar heavy items.
What is the estimated time required to clean my carpets?
Typically, each room will require around 20 minutes for cleaning. However, this duration may vary significantly based on factors such as the amount of furniture that needs to be shifted, the level of carpet soiling, and the need for spot removal treatments.
What is the expected drying time for my carpet after a cleaning session?
The dry time for your carpet post-cleaning is influenced by factors such as humidity, temperature, and air circulation within the room. Typically, it takes between 8-24 hours for the carpet to dry completely, depending on these variables. You can speed up the drying process by using fans and adjusting your air conditioning or heating system accordingly, depending on the season. Remember to keep the protective blocks under furniture legs and any paper used with upholstered items in place until both the carpet and furniture are completely dry, to prevent color transfer. You can walk on your carpet right after cleaning, but it’s advisable to avoid wearing street shoes that may soil the carpet. Instead, clean rubber-soled shoes are a better option. Also, exercise caution when walking from damp, carpeted areas to non-carpeted areas to avoid slipping.
Are your cleaning and protection techniques safe?
We exclusively utilize the safest and top-quality cleaning solutions available in the market.
What carpet cleaning techniques do you use?
Our carpet cleaning approach is hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning. This technique involves injecting hot and soft water, along with a customized cleaning solution, deep within the carpet fibers. Afterward, a potent suction device extracts nearly 95% of the moisture, as well as all the dirt, allergens, and cleaning solution from deep within the carpet. It’s a gentle yet effective way to eliminate the toughest dirt from carpets. This method is widely recommended by carpet manufacturers.
Are you insured?
Yes.
Can you provide a guarantee for your work?
Our commitment to your satisfaction is unwavering. We provide a 100% money-back guarantee, meaning that if you are not completely satisfied with the service we provide, we will come back to your location for free and without obligation. If you remain unsatisfied, we will issue a full refund of up to $1000 upon request. Our ultimate goal is to provide you with an unparalleled service experience that exceeds your expectations.
Is it true that delaying carpet cleaning for as long as possible is the best approach?
Actually, quite the opposite is true. Most major carpet manufacturers recommend that carpets be professionally cleaned at least once a year. As soil accumulates in the carpet and interacts with foot traffic, it causes abrasion that can wear down the fibers. Areas with heavy foot traffic will necessitate more frequent cleaning to maintain the carpet’s longevity.
Which is a better option for my carpet - dry cleaning or steam cleaning?
As previously stated, the preferred method recommended by most major carpet manufacturers is truck-mounted hot water extraction. When done properly by a certified technician, hot-water extraction can effectively remove more soil and spots than dry cleaning methods. However, if your specific situation requires dry cleaning, Renewed Carpet Care has experience in various dry cleaning techniques and can apply them accordingly.
Can the carpet backing get soaked during your cleaning process?
Our cleaning process is designed to rinse your carpet deep down, but it does not soak the backing of the carpet. Our powerful truck-mounted equipment ensures that your carpet is thoroughly rinsed, leaving it only damp to the touch.
Is it possible for you to remove pet odors from my carpet?
Pet odors are a frequent problem that many homeowners face. At Renewed Carpet Care, we specialize in finding solutions to help you overcome these challenges, no matter how minor or severe they may be. Pet urine can seep through the carpet backing and into the padding underneath, causing a multi-layered problem. Bacteria can thrive in the urine, exacerbating the odor and causing permanent discoloration of the carpet fiber. To eliminate the odor, each affected layer must be neutralized or removed. In less severe cases, a thorough cleaning may be sufficient, while in more extreme cases, replacing the padding and treating the sub-floor may be necessary. However, even replacement of the carpet cannot always guarantee complete removal of the odor. Over time, pet odor can be absorbed into various porous materials throughout the home, including draperies, upholstered furniture, and even concrete foundations. At Renewed Carpet Care, we offer a range of solutions to help you address these challenges and maintain a clean and healthy home. Ultimately, proper maintenance is key to managing pet odor and keeping your furry friends happy and healthy members of the family. Let us help you meet these challenges with our expertise and commitment to outstanding service.
What does 'Clean to Standards' mean?
Back in 1992, a group of representatives from the carpet manufacturing industry, the carpet cleaning industry, and the federal government came together to establish a uniform set of standards for the carpet cleaning industry. This set of standards is now widely known as the CRI standards. Renewed Carpet Care is well-versed in all of the methods outlined in these standards and can choose the method that best suits your specific needs. The CRI standards prescribe a set of common steps for each cleaning process, which includes pre-vacuuming, pre-treating stains and heavily soiled areas, hot water extraction, thorough rinsing, furniture moving, and complete drying within 24 hours. Following these standards will ensure a quality cleaning job. Renewed Carpet Care goes beyond these standards with its “12-step cleaning service,” which includes additional measures to guarantee a superior cleaning experience. Furthermore, we use powerful truck-mounted equipment in combination with our exclusive “Quick-Dry” process, which dramatically reduces drying time to just a few hours.
