Area Rug
Cleaning
With our advanced eight-step Rug Cleaning System, you rugs will be transformed to look and feel like new, with a fresh and revitalized appearance.
For Oriental Rugs and loose woven rugs, we highly recommend in-plant cleaning over on-location cleaning like wall-to-wall carpet. Our team is skilled in caring for rugs of all types, from the simplest to the most exquisite, from all over the world.
By opting for our in-plant rug cleaning service, we will carefully collect and transport your rug to our specialized cleaning plant. There, we use our Eight Step Cleaning System, which guarantees maximum removal of soil and stains.
"Cleaning an oriental rug is like performing a delicate surgery. It requires patience, precision, and a deep understanding of the unique fibers and dyes that make each rug a work of art."
Our Advanced
Eight-Step Rug Cleaning System
Step 2: Dry Soil Removal
We use a variety of techniques to ‘dust’ the rugs from the front and back. We use special vacuum attachments to remove dry soil from your rug.
Step 4: Pre-Spotting & Fringe Preparation
To maximize soil removal, any potentially difficult spots are pre-treated with specialized solutions. The fringe is also pre-treated.
Step 6: Thorough Rinse
Using warm water irrigation, and effective chemistry, contaminants are flushed out of rugs better than any other method!
Step 8: Post-Inspection
Our cleaning specialist will give the rug a final inspection.
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
We will determine as much as we possibly can about the type of rug and inherent qualities that may affect cleaning. We will outline the expected results and cleaning “prescription”.
Step 3: Pre-Conditioning
Depending on fiber content and soiling type, the rug will be pre-treated to emulsify the soils.
Step 5: Washing
Our area rug shampoo will clean your rugs gently and thoroughly. Soil is effectively removed by the gentle, turbulent flow of the wash water without the use of brushes or other mechanical forces that could damage rug fibers. Our rug washing solutions not only provide a thorough cleaning, but they ensure that cross contamination and dye transfer is impossible during the washing process.
Step 7: Drying & Finishing
Once the rug is dry it can be put in place. A final grooming will be completed.
